WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging platforms in the world. Updates are coming from time to time to improve the user experience of using WhatsApp. Now the platform is updating the online status.
The user can turn off the last seen option in the privacy option of WhatsApp. User can decide who can see your last scene as desired. But from now you can turn off your online status whenever you want and turn it on whenever you want.
Recently WhatsApp tracker Wbtinfo shared a screenshot. This has been reported there. In that message, it was seen that an online option was added to the 'Last Seen' option. The new name has been given as 'Last Seen and Online'.
Users can decide who will see the 'Last Seen' option. There are total 4 options here. These include 'Everyone', 'My Contacts', 'My Contacts Except' and 'Nobody'. Another option has been added with this. The option is named 'Who Can See When I'm Online'. There are two sub categories in that option. The first is 'Everybody' and the second is 'Same as Last Seen'.
This feature is currently under development. However, this feature has been sent to beta testers. As a result, many beta testers are able to use the feature right now. It is not yet known when this feature will be rolled out for everyone.
